He married Sarah Harrison, Mar 29 1868, Williamson County, Illinois.^f,i

Myles' first wife ran off with a preacher when his first two children were very small, abandoning the family.^a,i

He then married Jerusha "Drushie" Tanner, Dec 2 1875, Williamson County, Illinois.^d,e,j    Jerusha, daughter of Stephen Tanner & Eliza Harris, was born Jul - 1850, Williamson County, Illinois.^d,e    (c1855).^h

Milo and family were shown in the 1880 census (Jun 14 1880), Saline Township, Williamson County, Illinois:^h

On Oct 25 1895, "Mrs. Jarusa Henshaw" remarried to William Gruber, Perry County, Illinois.^k    This would seem to indicate that James had apparently died by 1895.

In the 1900 census, at least two of James' children, Fannie^l and Roscoe,^m were not living with Jerusha, but instead were living in the care of James' sister Mary Ann.
