In the 1900 census (Jun 1 1900) an unidentified Sarah Henshaw was shown as a servant in the household of an F.A. Bendig:e

Bendig, F.A., head-of-household, age 29, born Sep 1870 in Germany; saloon keeper.
Bendig, Clara M., wife, age 22, born Apr 1878 in Illinois.
Bendig, Marie, daughter, born Aug 1899 in Illinois.
Henshaw, Sarah, servant, age 13, born Mar 1887 in Illinois; parents born in Illinois; attended school 2 months.
The above might have been this Sarah,f although the age and birthdate do not match.    However living just four houses away in 1900 was the family of Sarah's first cousin, Elmina Henshaw.g

She married Milton L. Lindsey, about 1904.c,h    Milton was born about 1878, Illinois.c

Sarah and family were shown in the 1910 census (Apr 25 1910), Herrin Township, Williamson County, Illinois:c

Lindsey, Milton L., head-of-household, age 32, born in Illinois; father born in Illinois; mother born in Missouri; first marriage, married 6 years; occupation: miner, coal mine; rented home.
Lindsey, Sarah J., wife, age 30, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois; first marriage, married 6 years; 1 child, 1 living.
Lindsey, Liny [unclear] E., son, age 5, born in Illinois; parents born in Illinois.

Sarah Jane Henshaw died 1960.h
