Donald graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1955 with a degree in architecture, after having lived with his family on the campus for 4 years.1
In July of 1955 the family moved to Carmel, Indiana where they resided until 1966.1
In 1966 Donald and Joan and family moved from Indiana to Scottsdale, Arizona.1,10
Donald was a professor of architecture1,10 at Arizona State University from 1966 until his retirement in Dec 1983.1,11
In 1991 Donald was living at 6302 N. Granite Reef Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.4,10
Donald Andrew Hinshaw died Mar 31 19914,10 [Apr 8 19916], Desert Samaritan Hospital, Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona4,10; age 714,10 [Plot 18D 0 153, National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona6].
In 2004 Joan was still living in Scottsdale, Arizona.1
Joan died Feb 19 2016.9

Joan was a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona at the time of her passing.
Joan graduated from Westfield High School.
Joan served as a secretary in officer's clubs and worked in the mess halls of US Army Air Force bases during World War II.
She was married to Donald.
A memorial gathering is pending.
