She married William Thomas Taylor Benson, Sep 25 1834, Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois.1,3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13  William, son of John Benson & Sarah/Sally/Sallie Musick/Music, was born Oct 12 1811, Gibson County, Indiana.1,4,14,15  

The Hinshaws and the Bensons were apparently friendly: William Benson married Nancy; William's brother James Benson married Nancy's sister Polly Ann; brother Jesse Benson married Nancy's first cousin Nancy Hinshaw; and brother John married Nancy's other cousin Penira.

Susannah H. Benson, born 1838, died 1898; married Mitchell Lollis.
