She married Edward Franklin Bowers, Oct 16 1901, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona Territory.^1,4,6,7,10  Edward, son of Edward Franklin Bowers & Olive Joan Ehle, was born Sep 7 1877, Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona Territory.^{4,7,8,10,11,12,13,14,15}

Louisa and family were shown in the 1910 census (Apr 29 1910), 441 Fifth Street, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona:⁷

On Sep 12 1918 Edward Franklin Bowers, age 41, registered for the World War I draft in Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona.  He declared he was born Sep 7 1877, and was then residing at 213 N. Alarcon St., Prescott, Arizona, occupied as a life insurance agent, employed by Equitable Life of New York.  He declared his nearest relative was his wife, Clay Bowers, of the same address.  He was recorded as tall, medium build, blue eyes, light brown hair.¹¹  

Louisa and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 10 1920), 213 North Alarcon Street, Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona:⁸

Edward died Jul 1 1921, Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona; age 43y 9m 24d.^10,13,16,17  

Ed was Undersheriff of Yavapai County, Arizona,^8,12 when he was killed in an ambush.¹⁶  

Widow Louisa and children were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 4 1930), Los Olivos, Maricopa County, Arizona:⁹

Louisa and daughters were shown in the 1936 city directory of Phoenix, Arizona:¹⁸

Louisa Clay Henshaw died May 6 1950, at her home, 2602 N. 3rd St., Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona; age 73y 8m 3d.⁵  

Note: Louisa's death certificate clearly shows burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Phoenix;⁵ however there is a marker for Louisa in Masonic Cemetery in Prescott, where Ed is buried⁶ (see scans below).  It is uncertain if the death certificate is incorrect, or if the marker in Prescott is only a marker (but she is not buried there), or if perhaps she might have been buried first in Phoenix then later moved to Prescott.¹⁹
