She married Hiram Albert Thomas^10,11 [Albert Thomas^5,8,9,12], Jun 3 1920^10,11, at her father's home, Clay County, West Virginia^10,11.  Hiram, son of Michael "Irvin" Thomas & Emma Westfall^5,9,11,13,14, was born Dec 10 1894^5,9,11,13,14 [Dec 10 1892¹²], Clay County, West Virginia^5,9,11,13,14.  

Albert was the brother of Mindia Edith Thomas who married Icie's brother Romie Watson Hanshaw, and also the brother of Jacob William Thomas who married Icie's sister Emma Etta Hanshaw.¹¹

On Jun 5 1917 Albert Thomas, age 22, had registered for the World War I draft in Clay County, West Virginia.  He declared he was born December 10 1892 in Clay County, West Virginia, and was then still residing in Clay County where he was single, without dependents, and a coal miner employed by the Blue Knob Coal Co. of Elkhurst.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, brown eyes, black hair.¹²

After Icie died Albert remarried to Icie's sister-in-law, Thelma M. (Leary) Hanshaw.¹¹  Their marriage ended in divorce.¹¹  

Hiram died Dec 15 1993.^11,14
