PROCIOUS - Thelma Hanshaw Thomas, 89, of Procious died Jan. 9, 1999, in General Division, CAMC, after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and a Christian.
Surviving: daughters, Daisy Clark of Girrard, Ohio, Dora Jane Crawford, Dorothy Cummings, Patricia Cummings, Deborah Samples and Sandra Smith, all of Procious, Delphia Pearl Saare of Youngstown, Ohio, Shirley Simmons of Apex, N.C.; sons, Dallas Henry Hanshaw and Doy Hanshaw, both of Procious, Delfred Hanshaw Jr. of Hesperia, Calif. [sic - grandson]; sisters, Dessie Butler of Stockton, Va., Kathleen May of Valley Fork, Sena White of Powellton; brother, Harold Igo of Cleveland.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carl Wilson Funeral Home, Clay, with the Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial will be in Hively Cemetery, Valley Fork. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
