Born Aug 7 18792,4,5 [about 18821], Pennsylvania2,4,5.  

He married Elide A. Guenste, Aug 22 1900, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.2  Elide was born Apr - 1881, Pennsylvania.6,7  

Elide died Feb 21 1903.7  

Elide's death was reported in "The Pittsburgh Press" (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on Sunday morning, February 22, 1903:7

HENSHAW -- On Saturday, February 21, 1903, at 2:15 a. m., Elide A. (nee Guenste), wife of Delmer Henshaw, aged 22 years.  

Funeral from residence of Mrs. A. Weitershausen, 6010 Evergreen avenue, Millvale, Pa., on Monday afternoon, February 23, 1903.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

He then married Nellie O'Donnell.1,2  Nellie, daughter of Patrick O'Donnell & Annie M. Wright, was born Apr 28 1884, Pennsylvania.1,2,8  

On Sep 12 1918 Delmer Foster Henshaw, age 39, registered for the World War I draft in Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma.  He declared he was born August 7th 1879, and was then residing at 924 D St., Perry, Noble County, Oklahoma where he was an oil well driller.  He declared his nearest relative was his wife, Mrs. Nellie Henshaw of the same address.  He was recorded as tall, medium build, blue eyes, brown hair.5  

Delmer and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 26 1920), 1st Ave., Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, Texas:1

Henshaw, D. F., head-of-household, age 38, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania; owned home; occupation: driller, oil well.
Henshaw, Nellie, wife, age 36, born in Pennsylvania; father born in Ireland; mother born in England.
Henshaw, Oliver, son, age 18, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania; occupation: laborer, oil field.
Henshaw, Drucilla, daughter, age 5, born in Oklahoma; parents born in Pennsylvania.

Delmer Foster Henshaw died 1949, Cushing, Payne County, Oklahoma.2  

Nellie died Mar 10 1980, Denver, Denver County, Colorado.2,8
