On Apr 27 1942 John Ernest Henshaw, age 54, registered for the World War II draft in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.  He declared he was born Feb 20 1888 in Jackson County, Alabama, and was then residing at 3100 Fulton Street, Little Rock, Arkansas, employed by United Friends of America of Little Rock.  He declared his relative/contact was Irine Hinshaw of the same address.  He was recorded as negro, 5'9" wall, 162 lbs., brown eyes, gray hair, dark brown complexion.2
