Julia exhibited at the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors (where she was one of the first presidents); the National Academy of Design from 1898; The Trans-Mississippi Expo, Omaha, Neb. in 1898.    She was a member of the National Arts Club, the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, and the Society of American Artists.^a

Charles was listed in the 1890 directory of New York City:^j

Charles died 1937.ⁱ    (1947).^l
