HUDSON - The funeral of Edith M. Hinshaw Klump, 95, of Heritage Manor, El Paso, formerly of Hudson, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. The Rev. Gloria Hernandez will officiate. Burial will be in Hudson Cemetery, Hudson. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the memorial home.
She died at 2:56 p.m. Monday (June 19, 2000) at Heritage Manor, El Paso. Memorials may be made to Hudson Christian Church, Hudson.
Mrs. Klump was born Jan. 8, 1905, in Hudson, the daughter of Frank W. and Grace Gildersleeve Hinshaw. She married Gussie Klump Oct. 5, 1927, in El Paso. He died May 11, 1981. Survivors include two daughters, Waunita (Charles) Geshiwlm, Carlock, and Lois (Donald) Hines, R.R. 1, Bloomington; and one sister, Evelyn Meiss, Lexington. Also surviving are a brother-in-law, Edward Madix, Hudson, and eight grandchildren, Susan (Patrick) Larkin, Steven (Marjorie) Geshiwlm, Douglas (Kimberly) Geshiwlm, Gregory (Susan) Geshiwlm, Lori Ann Geshiwlm, David Geshiwlm, Becky Hines and Mark (Jana) Hines; and 11 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Erin Larkin; Natalie and Nicole Geshiwlm; Lance and Lindsey Geshiwlm; Trevor, Olivia and Ian Geshiwlm; and Billy and Robbie Hines.
Her parents, two brothers, two sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.
Mrs. Klump was a homemaker. She was a member of Hudson Christian Church; Hudson Homemakers Extension Association; and White Oak Social Club.
