He declared he was born October Twenty Six, 1899, and he was then residing on Barre Road, Templeton, Worcester County, Massachusetts, where he was a farmer employed by Josiah I. Henshaw, off Barre Rd., Templeton. He declared his nearest relative was Josiah I. Henshaw of the same address. He was recorded as tall, medium build, blue eyes, light brown hair.⁴

He married Mildred Chamberlain Brown, about 1924.^1,7 Mildred, daughter of Louis Miller Brown & Ethel V. Peart, was born Jul 5 1904, Templeton, Massachusetts.^2,3,8

Charles and family were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 18 1930), Henshaw Road, Templeton, Worcester County, Massachusetts:²

Mildred died Aug 30 2001, Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, Massachusetts; buried Pine Grove Cemetery.^3,8

Mildred's obituary was published in the "Worcester Telegram & Gazette" (Worcester, Massachusetts) on Aug 31 2001:⁸
