Born May 24 18835,6,7,8 [Apr - 18839, about 18884, about 18902], Canadian, Pittsburg County, Indian Territory (Oklahoma)5,6,7,8 [South McAllister, Oklahoma10].  

On Jul 14 1911 Harry Hinshaw, age 28y 1m, enlisted at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri in Company E, 5th Cavalry, U.S. Army.  He declared he was born in So. McAllister, Oklahoma, and was then occupied as a farmer.  He was recored as 5'9½" tall, blue eyes, fark brown hair, fair complexion.  He was honorably discharged Jul 13 1914.10  

He married Edna Gillian Parvin1,7,11 [Gillian Parvin12], Nov 4 19171,7,11, Stuttgart, Arkansas1,7,11.  Edna, daughter of George Fernando Parvin & Laura Emma McInturf, was born Jan 19 1903, Booneville, Logan County, Arkansas.2,3,11,12,13

Hinshaw of the same address.  He was recorded as 5'10½" tall, 165 lbs., gray eyes, gray hair, ruddy complexion, and "A broken nose".6
