On Jul 21 1942 Harry C. Hinshaw Jr., born 1918 in Arkansas, a resident of Eddy County, New Mexico, enlisted at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas as a private in the U.S. Army. He declared he had a grammar school education and was married. He was recorded as 68" tall, 130 lbs.7 U.S. Air Force service from Apr 1 1963 to Jul 31 1972.8
He then married Elenore Adele Theurer1,9,16 [Eloner Theurer2]. Elenore, daughter of William H. Theurer & Lucinda Jane Harmon, was born Sep 7 1925, St. Louis, Missouri.1,9,10
On Aug 3 1949 Elenore arrived at the Port of San Francisco on the USAT "General William O. Darby", having sailed from Yokohama, Japan on Jul 22 1949:
Hinshaw, Elenore J., age 23y 10m, born in St. Louis, Missouri; destination: 220 Pardella Ave., Lemay 23, Missouri.
Elenore died Sep 6 1986, buried Garden of Gesthemane or Last Supper, Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum and Crematory, 1215 Lemay Ferry Road, Lemay, St. Louis County, Missouri.10,12,17
In 1994 Harry was living in/near St. Louis, Missouri.10
Harry Charles Hinshaw, Jr. died Apr 16 1994, St. Louis, Missouri; buried Garden of Gesthemane or Last Supper, Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum and Crematory, 1215 Lemay Ferry Road, Lemay, St. Louis County, Missouri.8,9,10,17,18
Harry's obituary was published in the "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" (St. Louis, Missouri) on April 18, 1994.19
