On Feb 11 1942 Grover B. Hinshaw, born in 1921, enlisted in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as a private in the U.S. Army. He declared he had four years of high school, was single, without dependents, and occupied as a welder. He was recorded as 72" tall, 133 lbs.4
He married Twila Fern Bell, about 1945.2 Twila, daughter of Allen George Bell & Mamie Juanita Shirley, was born Aug 31 1927, Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas.2,10,11 Note that Twila's sister, Laura Bell, married Grover's brother Harry.2
Twila and Grover were apparently divorced or separated. Twila remarried to a Louis Edward Hambleton, and had additional children Rebecca Ann (1953), Steven Edward (1954) and Vanessa Rea (1956) Hambleton.12 She divorced Louis Edward Hambleton, Feb 17 1984, Grayson County, Texas.13 Twila died Jul 16 2006, Medical Center Hospital, Odessa, Texas; age 78.10,14
He then married Verna Frances Reisman.8 Verna, daughter of Vern Reisman & Rosey Long, was born May 21 1931, Mustang, Canadian County, Oklahoma.3,5,15
Grover was deputy sheriff in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.2
Grover lived in Yukon, Canadian County, Oklahoma.5,6,9
