Keith W. Hinshaw

PAYSON, Ill. -- Keith W. Hinshaw, 62, of Payson, died at 3:10 a.m. Thursday (March 26, 2015) at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

He was born May 7, 1952, in St. Louis, a son of Harry and Eloner Theurer Hinshaw.  He married Pamela Tournear on Aug. 3, 1996.  She survives.

Keith was a professional musician and played all over the United States.  After settling in Quincy, he played in several local bands.  He could listen to a song once and then play it note for note.

In addition to his wife, Pam, he is survived by two sisters, Iris Rahubaka and Lynn Strain; sisters and brothers-in-law, Richard and Georgia Tournear, Joanne and Calvin Spears, Linda and Paul Saunders and Leonard and Jeannie Tournear; his mother-in-law, Alice Tournear.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

He will be sadly missed by many dear friends and relatives.  As Keith always said, "I'll play any kind of music as long as it pays."  An avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, his favorite shout was "How 'bout them Redbirds!"
