Walter died Aug 28 1911, Burdick, Morris County, Kansas; buried Wilsey Cemetery, Wilsey, Morris County, Kansas.180    Walter was murdered in the presence of his wife and daughter in an argument with his former employer, for whom Elsie and Walter had been keeping house.180

After Walter died, Elsie and daughter moved to Kansas City, Missouri.180

She then married Frank E. Brady.180    Frank was born in Boone, Iowa.180

No children from the second marriage.180

Elsie took-in the wife and son of her brother Lewis while he was stationed at Camp Pike, Arkansas.180    After his wife died, Elsie raised their son, Lewis Everett Hinshaw, Jr..180,b

Hinshaw, Lewis E., nephew, age 3 years 1 month, born in New York; father born in Kansas; mother born in Massachusetts.

Daughter Geneva was killed in an airplane crash while learning to be a pilot, Jul 13 1929, Kansas City, Missouri.180

Elsie and Frank were divorced sometime before 1930.c

Elsie and nephew Lewis were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 12 1930), 3832 Garfield Avenue, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri:c

After Frank died, Elsie returned to Wilsey, Kansas where she lived until her death.

Elsie Mable Hinshaw died Nov 27 1987, Council Grove, Morris County, Kansas; age 98 years; buried Wilsey Cemetery, Wilsey, Kansas.180,209
