He married Julia McRae Plummer²², Jun 7 1905²² [Jun 5 1905^1,8,13,14, about 1904²], Petersburg, Virginia²².  Julia, daughter of Stark Armistead Plummer & Cornelia Peterson^{1,4,5,13,14,23,24}, was born Jan 30 1880^{1,4,5,13,14,23,24} [about 1882³, about 1884²], Virginia^{1,4,5,13,14,23,24}.  

On Feb 12 1906 Nevil and Julia arrived at the Port of New Orleans on the S.S. Olympia, having sailed Feb 8 1906 from Puerto Cortes, Honduras:²⁵

Nevil and family were shown in the 1910 census (Apr 29 1910), living with his brothers in New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana:²

On Sep 12 1918 Nevil Gratiot Henshaw, age 38, registered for the World War I draft in Albemarle County, Virginia.  He declared he was born April 23 1880, and was then residing Charlottesville, Virginia where he was a writer, working in his residence.  He declared his nearest relative was Julia P. Henshaw of Charlottesville.  He was recorded as medium height, slender, brown eyes, black hair.⁷

Nevil Gratiot Henshaw died Nov 24 1936, Charlottesville, Virginia; buried Riverview Cemetery, 1701 Chesapeake Street, Charlottesville, Virginia.^{13,14,15,24,27}  

Nevil's death was reported in the "New York Times" (New York, New York) on November 26, 1936²⁷ (see scan below).
