WILLIAM K. HINSHAW, 79, of Huntington, husband of Jo anne Carson Hinshaw, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at his residence.  Graveside funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2002, at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating.  Entombment will follow.  He was born April 27, 1923, in Cabell County, a son of the late Clinton White and Marie Burns Hinshaw.  He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the World War II Submarine Veterans Association.  He was also a retired building contractor.  In addition to his parents, two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.  Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kay Stewart of Huntington, Lesley and Gregg VanPelt of Weston, W.Va., and Laura and John Kinley of Huntington; six grandchildren, Sarah Geisler, Rachel Stewart, William Tyler Stewart, Megan VanPelt, Kara VanPelt and Caroline Kinley; two sisters, Lois Wellman of Huntington and Joyce Price of Proctorville, Ohio.  Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday, August 10, 2002, at the Ridgelawn Mausoleum.  Members of VFW Post 1064 Huntington, will conduct Military Graveside Rites.  Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington is in charge of arrangements.

JO ANNE HINSHAW, 77, of Huntington, widow of William Keith Hinshaw, died Thursday in Chateau Grove Personal Care.  She was co-owner of Shaw Sales & Service.  Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Abbey of Devotion, Ridgelawn Memorial Park.  Entombment will follow.  Visitation after 1 p.m. Tuesday.  Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Johnson.  Entombment will follow.  Jo anne was born Aug. 23, 1928, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Roy and Marie Gilmore Carson.  She was a loving wife, devoted mother and co-owner of Shaw Sales & Service with her husband, William Keith Hinshaw, who preceded her in death.  Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kay Stewart and Laura and John Kinley, all of Huntington, Lesley and Gregg VanPelt of Weston, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Sarah Geisler and husband Brett, Rachel Mares and husband David, William Tyler Stewart, Megan VanPelt, Kara Sims and husband Dan, Caroline Kinley, and George Patrick Kinley; three great-grandchildren, Olivia and Ava Geisler, and Carson Mares.  Condolences may be sent to the family at chapmans-mortuary.com.  Friends may call at the Abbey after 1 p.m. Tuesday.  Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
