Mabel graduated from high school in 1906 (10 grades) and from Salem College in 1908.^d    At Salem College she was the Vice-President of the Class of '08.^e

The following article was published in the "Laurensville Herald" (Laurensville, South Carolina) on August 20, 1920:^f

MISS MABELL HINSHAW of Winston Salem, is the guest of her sister, MRS. B.M. WOLFF, West Main St.

In 1926 Mabel was still living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.^g
