Helen was a housewife, and a lifelong member of the Friends Church.¹⁰  

In 1997 Helen was living in/near Beavercreek, Clackamas County, Oregon.³  

Helen Marie Hinshaw died Apr 28 1997, Clackamas, Oregon; buried Sec B4 Blk 55 Lot 78, Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado.^3,4,7,10  

Helen's obituary was published in "The Denver Post" (Denver, Colorado) on May 7, 1997:⁴

Helen M. Penna Homemaker, 84 Helen M. Penna of Oregon City, Ore., a homemaker, died April 28 in Clackamas, Ore.  She was 84.  Services were Saturday at First Denver Friends Church, 4595 Eliot St.  Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery.  She was born Jan. 9, 1913, in Anson, Kan.  She attended Friends University in Wichita.  She married Frederick D. Penna on Sept. 18, 1935, in Denver.  She was a teacher and a homemaker.  She was a member of Denver Friends Church.  She is survived by her husband; three sons, Franklin LeRoy and Delbert O., both of Denver, and Floyd M., Oregon City, Ore.; a brother, Harold Hinshaw, Miami, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In 1999 Frederick was living in/near Denver, Denver County, Colorado.³  

Frederick died Sep 12 1999, buried Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado.^3,8
