On Jun 5 1917 Solomon Oscar Henshaw, age 30, registered for the World War I draft in Bristow, Creek County, Oklahoma.  He declared he was born July 25 1886 in Plymouth, Kansas, and he was then residing in Bristow, Oklahoma where he was single and a teacher employed by the Board of Education.  He was recorded as tall, stout, light brown eyes, black hair.4  

He married Agnes Hamilton, about 1919.1,5  Agnes was born Jun 25 18942,5,7 [about 18971], Oklahoma2,5,7.  

Solomon and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 23 1920), Shamrock, Creek County, Oklahoma:2

Solomon Oscar Henshaw died Oct 26 1936, Deming Hospital, Deming, Luna County, New Mexico; buried Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.5,8,9  

Solomon's death was noted in "The Deming Headlight" (Deming, Luna County, New Mexico) on Friday, October 30, 1936:8

SOLOMON OSCAR HENSHAW

Solomon Oscar Henshaw tourist of Stillwater, Oklahoma, died Monday at Deming hospital.  The body was shipped Tuesday to Oklahoma City for interment.

In 1981 Agnes was living in/near Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas.7  

Agnes died Jun 4 1981, buried Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.5,7
