Hannah and family were shown in the 1860 census (Sep 11 1860), Big Creek Township, Cass County, Missouri:3

Hannah, age 23, born in North Carolina; wife.
Benj A, age 5, born in Missouri.
Sarah S, age 2, born in Missouri.
Thos, age 1 month, born in Missouri.
Sarah Hinshaw, age 66, born in North Carolina; cannot read or write.

She then married Socrates Dodd, Mar 15 1865, Pleasant Hill, Cass County, Missouri.8,9,10,11,12  Socrates was born about 1836, Indiana.10  

Socrates had been previously married (apparently briefly) to a June Blumshalt, Mar 17 1863, Jackson County, Missouri.8  

Socrates was, at the time of his marriage to Hannah, with Company L, 1st Missouri S.M. (militia??).9,11  His gravestone showed he was also with Company D, 5th Missouri S.M. Cavalry.13

Dodd, Hannah, age 37, born in North Carolina; keeps house; cannot write.
Patterson, Susan, age 13, born in Missouri; attended school; cannot write.
Patterson, Thomas J., age 9, born in Missouri.
Dodd, Cornelia J., age 2, born in Missouri.
Dodd, William J., age 6 months, born Dec [1869] in Missouri.
Walker, Liberta, age 23, born in Tennessee; cannot read or write; "idiot".
Hishaw, Sarah, age 74, born in North Carolina; cannot write.

Hannah and family apparently moved briefly to Nebraska about 1870-1872.4  

Socrates died Mar 9 188014 [Mar 18 188013]; buried Walnut Grove Cemetery, Brownville, Nemaha County, Nebraska14.  

She then married Charles Lucas.4  Charles was born about 1832, Ohio.4  

Charles had apparently been previously married, and had a daughter, Rosey Lucas.4

Hannah and family were shown in the 1880 census (Jun 7 1880), Granite Township, Phillips County, Kansas:4

Lucas, Rosey, daughter, age 15 [or 12 - unclear], born in Kansas; father born in Ohio; mother born in Illinois [unclear]; attended school.
Lucas, Charley, son, age 1 month, born May [1880] in Kansas; father born in Ohio; mother born in North Carolina; attended school [sic].
Paterson, Thomas, step-son, age 20, born in Missouri; father born in South Carolina; mother born in North Carolina; farmer; attended school.
Dodd, Jane, step-daughter, age 13, born in Missouri; father born in Indiana; mother born in North Carolina; attended school.
Dodd, Anna, step-daughter, age 8, born in Nebraska; father born in Indiana; mother born in North Carolina; attended school.
Dodd, Elizabeth, step-daughter, age 5, born in Nebraska; father born in Indiana; mother born in North Carolina; attended school.

Hannah was reported to have died in Jackson County, Missouri,12 but that is questionable since she was living in Kansas in 1880.4
