Rev. Arthur R. Magby Arthur R. Magby, 87, of Hot Springs, died surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren, Friday, April 20, 2007, at a local hospital. He was born May 29, 1919, at Caddo Valley, Ark., to William E. and Cora Belle Diffee Magby, he was a retired minister, member of Fairview Church of God and former member of Prairie Bayou Church of Christ. Mr. Magby was predeceased by his parents; his loving wife of 47 years, Eunith; sisters, Edith Shaw and Ethel Campbell; and brother, Winford Magby. Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Don and Mike of Hot Springs, Arnold and Patti of Elizabeth, Colo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and James Trubey of Hot Springs; sister, Glenna Loudermill of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Teri Gilmore of Malvern, Shari Long of Ft. Smith, Melissa Buckles of Summits Holt, Mo., Kim Trubey of Hot Springs, Tiffani Grayer of Hot Springs, Kristin Muldoon of Pueblo, Co., Michael McQueen of Silverton, Co.; nine great grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Prairie Bayou Church of Christ with the Rev. Bob Clark and Brother Bobby Looper officiating. Pallbearers will be Frank Perry, Darrell Henshaw, Chad Veazey, Greg Grayer, Michael Kincannon and Eddie DeGrasse. Honorary pallbearers are his granddaughters, Brother Marcus Phillips, Clinton Hughes, John Greathouse, Dr. James Humphreys, Dr. Robert Klienhenz, Dr. Al Thomas, James Turbey, Jeisen Strickland and nurses of 3 West, St. Joseph’s Hospital. Burial will follow at the Prarie Bayou Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at the home of Betty and James Trubey.
