Born Mar 17 1948, Center, Sharp County, Arkansas.¹  

She married Lester John VanRelt, Mar 1 1973.¹  

She then married Richard Wayne "Rick" Friberg, Apr 17 1982, San Mateo County, California.^1,2  Richard, son of Raymond O. Friberg & Rachel N. Hanson, was born May 10 1938, Clarkfield, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota.^3,4,5  

Barbara was a flight attendant for NorthWest Airlines.¹  

Rick graduated from the University of Oregon, class of 1960,⁶ and was a captain with TWA.¹  

Barbara and Richard divorced.³  Richard died Sep 16 2012, age 74.³  Rick's obituary was published as follows:³

A celebration of life will be held later for Richard "Rick" Friberg of Eugene, who died Sept. 16 of respiratory failure.  He was 74.   He was born May 10, 1938, in Clarkfield, Minn., to Ray and Rachel Hanson Friberg.  He married Gwyneth Harris in 1963; they later divorced.  He married Barbara Henshaw in 1982; they later divorced.   He graduated from Eugene High School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.  He was a pilot for the Oregon Air National Guard and the Navy Air Reserve.  He worked his entire 35-year career as a captain, check captain and instructor for Trans World Airlines.   Survivors include two daughters, Kristen Gyben of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Ginny Gerard of North Salem, N.Y.; a brother, Ron of Eugene; and three grandchildren.   Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.

Barbara currently (1998) resides in San Francisco, California.¹
