Leo Newton Hinshaw died Mar 1 1919, buried Plevna Cemetery, Plevna, Reno County, Kansas.1,2  Leo died in the post-WWI flu epidemic.1  

Leo was the mayor of Plevna at the time of his death.  He was also part owner and manager of the "Hinshaw Grain Company".1  

Grace and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 15 1920), living with her parents in Plevna, Reno County, Kansas:6

Likens, Harriett M., wife, age 52, born in New Mexico; father born in Scotland; [..mother's birthplace unclear..]; occupation: telephone operator, [..unclear..].
Hinshaw, Grace, daughter, age 26, born in Kansas; father born in Illinois; mother born in New Mexico; widow; occupation: none.
Hinshaw, Pearl, granddaughter, age 10, born in Kansas; parents born in Kansas; attended school.
Hinshaw, Jerry, grandson, age 7, born in Kansas; parents born in Kansas; attended school.
Hinshaw, James, grandson, age 3 years 9 months, born in Kansas; parents born in Kansas.
Living next door in 1920 was Leo's widowed uncle Jeremiah Hinshaw.8  

Grace and family were again shown in the 1930 census (Apr 23 1930) Arlington Street, Arlington, Reno County, Kansas:7

Hinshaw, Pearl H., daughter, age 19, born in Kansas; father born in Missouri; mother born in Kansas; attended school.
In 1930 son Jerry, age 17, was living with Leo's widowed mother in Plevna, Kansas.9  

Grace died Nov 22 1945, buried Plevna Cemetery, Plevna, Reno County, Kansas.2,4,10
