Henshaw, Lucy, mother, age 50, born in Tennessee; parents born in Tennessee; married.

He married Gretchen Hall, about 1927.1,3  Gretchen was born Nov 9 1910, Arkansas.4  

Earl and Gretchen were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 3 1930), De Roche Township, Hot Spring County, Arksansas:3

Henshaw, Earl, head-of-household, age 28, born in Arkansas; father born in Alabama; mother born in Tennessee; first married at age 25; rented home; occupation: farmer; not a veteran.
Henshaw, Gretchen, wife, age 21, born in Arkansas; parents born in Arkansas; first married at age 18.
Henshaw, Irene, daughter, age 2 years 10 months, born in Arkansas; parents born in Arkansas.
Sanders, Lucy, mother, age 60, born in Tennessee; parents born in Tennessee; widow; first married at age 19.

Gretchen died Mar 28 1939, buried Prince Cemetery, just north of DeRoche, Hot Spring County, Arkansas.4  

In the 1950s Earl lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas, next door to Arvil Henshaw.1  Earl was a farmer and also did odd jobs around the community (he never held a regular job).1  

William Earl Henshaw died Mar 6 1961, buried Prince Cemetery, just north of DeRoche, Hot Spring County, Arkansas.1,4
