He married Janette "Nettie" Bowen⁷ [Nettie Bowen¹, Nettie Boins⁴, Jenetta "Nettie" Bowens¹⁴, Jenetta "Nettie" Bowen¹⁶], Jun 6 1909⁷, Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas⁷.  Janette, daughter of John Albert Bowen & Martha Ann "Patsey" Jackson, was born Dec 29 1890, Arkansas.^{1,2,3,5,7,10,14,17}  

Ben and Nettie were shown in the 1910 census (Apr 16 1910), De Roche Township, Hot Spring County, Arksansas:¹²

On Sep 12 1918 Thomas Benjamin Franklin Hinshaw, age 28, registered for the World War I draft in Hot Spring County, Arkansas.  He declared he was born June 11 1888 in Texas, and was then residing in/near Malvern, Arkansas, married with a wife and three children, employed cutting logs.  No previous military experience.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, black hair.⁸

On Apr 27 1942 T.B. Henshaw, age 53, registered for the World War II draft in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.  He declared he was born June 11 1888 in Texas, and was then residing at 1106 Geyer in Little Rock, employed at the Bruce Sawmill.  He declared his relative/contact was Odis Henshaw of the same address.  He was recorded as 5'9" tall, 140 lbs., hazel eyes, black hair, light complexion, and "split fingernail on left hand".¹⁵  

Ben and family were shown in the 1942 city directory of Little Rock, Arkansas:²¹

He then married Ida Gustafson, Jan 17 1946, Hot Spring County, Arkansas.²²  Ida was born about 1915, Arkansas.^2,3,22  

Ida had been the wife of Ben's son, Otis.^2,3,23  

It is believed that Ben and Nettie never divorced²³ (although it has been reported that they divorced in 1946).⁵  Nettie helped take care of Ben up until his death.²³  

Thomas Benjamin Franklin Henshaw died 1955, buried Prince Cemetery, just north of DeRoche, Malvern, Hot Spring County, Arkansas.^10,16  

Nettie was shown in the 1961 city directory of Dallas, Texas:²¹

In 1969 Nettie was still living in/near Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.¹⁷  

Nettie died Feb 11 1969, Dallas County, Texas; buried Prince Cemetery, just north of DeRoche, Malvern, Hot Spring County, Arkansas.^{7,10,14,24,25}
