She married Henry Thomas Martin, Mar 29 1875, King and Queen County, Virginia.^a    (Feb 6 1879).^c    Henry, son of George Martin & Ellender Chenault, was born Mar 15 1851, Caroline County, Virginia.^c    Note that Maria's sister Betty Jean married Henry's brother Samuel Pierce Martin, and sister Lucy married Henry's brother George Moses Martin.^c
