Jim and Ida apparently divorced. Ida remarried to Thomas Jefferson Hull.⁵ Ida died Jun - 1975, Colorado; buried Grandview Cemetery (Colona Cemetery), Ouray County, Colorado.^5,9

He then married Pluma May Bricker^1,6 [Plumey May Bricker¹²], about 1926^1,6. Pluma, daughter of Joseph Bricker, was born Apr 5 1909, Missouri.^6,12

Jim and family were again shown in the 1930 census (Apr 28 1930), Roubidoux Township, Pulaski County, Missouri:⁶

Pluma died Feb 1 1931, Roubidoux Township, Pulaski County, Missouri; age 21y 9m 26d.¹²

James Starr Hinshaw died May 29 1976, Mt. Vernon, Missouri; buried Dowty Cemetery (Wair Chapel Cemetery), near Richland, Laclede County, Missouri.^9,10 (May 28 1976, Lake Ozark, Miller County, Missouri).⁵

Jim's obituary was published in the "Pulaski County Democrat" on June 3, 1976.¹⁰
