Born about 1799, Digby County, Nova Scotia.2,7,8  

George Henshaw was one of the early settlers of Wellington County, Ontario, in the 1820s.9  

He married Ann Wheeler, Mar 19 1825, Erin Township, Wellington County, Ontario.2,3  Ann, daughter of Aaron Wheeler & Elizabeth Lucans, was born about 1798, Glastonbury, Somerset, England.2  

George Henshaw was shown in the 1871 census, Wellington County, Ontario:8,10

George Henshaw, age 72, born in Nova Scotia; ethnic origin: English; religion: Baptist.

George Henshaw died May 16 1880, probably Erin Township, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada.1  (May 17 1880).2  

Widow Ann and family were shown in the 1881 census, Erin Township, Wellington County, Ontario:6

Ann Henshaw, age 82, born in England; widow; English; Baptist.
Eliza Henshaw, age 54, born in Ontario; English; Baptist.
Annie Holmes, age 20, born in Ontario; Irish; Baptist.
Living just a few houses away in 1881 was the family of son Morgan.11
