Born 1823, McMurry County, Tennessee.1
She married Thomas E. Campbell4 [Thomas C. Campbell2], Dec 3 18454, Williamson County, Illinois4. Thomas was born about 1825, Tennessee.5 Note: this marriage record is not known for certain to refer to this particular Rebecca Hendshaw/Hinshaw, but it is believed to be this Rebecca since this is the only known Hinshaw/Henshaw family living in the 1840s in Williamson County, Illinois.
Rebecca and family were shown in the 1850 census (Sep 6 1850), Williamson County, Illinois:5
Thomas E. Campbell, age 25, born in Tennessee; farmer.
Rebecca Campbell, age 25 [unclear], born in Tennessee.
James Campbell, age 3, born in Illinois.
Leander Campbell, age 1, born in Illinois.
Living nearby in 1850 were Rebecca's parents and siblings.6 Also living nearby were sister Caroline and her husband.7
Rebecca Hinshaw died 1866.1
