During World War II, Bill served as a Private in Battery A, 736th Field Artillary Batallion.1,3  On Jul 8 1944 Bill T. Hinshaw, born 1923 in Alabama, enlisted at Fort McClellan, Alabama as a private in the U.S. Army.  He declared he had a grammar school education, was single, without dependents, and employed as an automobile serviceman.7  

He married Estell Stewart, Feb 8 1964, Franklin County, Tennessee.1,2,5  Estell, daughter of Jerry M. + Ella Mae Stewart, was born Aug 6 1919.1,3,4,5,8  

Bill T. Henshaw died Apr 9 1971, Huntland, Franklin County, Tennessee; buried Henshaw Cemetery, Jackson County, Alabama.1,3,4,5  

In 2005 Estell was living in Winchester, Franklin County, Tennessee.8  In 2008 Estell was living in/near Belvidere, Franklin County, Tennessee.4  

Estell died Nov 7 2008, buried Henshaw Cemetery, Jackson County, Alabama.4,5
