Isaac Henshaw1 [Isaac Hincher2,3,4].

Born about 1759, Randolph, Orange County, Vermont.1,2  

He married Mercy Strong, Jul 13 1786.3,5  Mercy, daughter of Benajah Strong & Polly Bacon, was born Hartford, Vermont.3,5  

Eight children.3  

Isaac was shown in the 1810 census living near Bethel, Windsor County, Vermont (page 487).6  He was again shown in the 1820 census (page 184).7  

In the 1830 census Isaac was still living near Bethel, Vermont:8

1 male age 30-40 (faded - possibly intended to be erased).
1 male age 70-80
1 female age 5-10 (faded - possibly intended to be erased).
1 female age 10-15 (faded - possibly intended to be erased).

1 female age 40-50
1 female age 60-70

In 1834 Isaac was still living in Windsor County, Vermont.2  

Isaac was a Revolutionary War veteran, where he was a private serving on the Connecticut continental line.2  On Apr 28 1834 he was granted an annual pension of $30, retroactive to Mar 4 1831, as compensation for his war service.2  

Isaac Henshaw died Feb 9 1840.3,5  

Mercy died Aug 13 1848.3,5
