He married Mary Knight.1  Mary, daughter of Richard Knight & Eliza Carter, was born Oct 22 1841, London, England.1,2,3,5,6,7,13  Mary was from Cincinnati, Ohio.1  

Edward was President of the Henshaw Furniture Company ("G. Henshaw & Sons"), the family business started by his father.1  He was also Mayor of College Hill Village, on the north edge of what is today Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.1
