He married Elizabeth Heaton, about 1875.3  

He then married Myrtilda Hodgin5,6 [Myrtilla Mendenhall7,11, Myrtilla Mendenhall Hodgin7, Myrtilla Mendenhall Hogen11], Jun 17 18975,6, Owen County, Indiana5,6.  Myrtilda, daughter of Simeon Warner Mendenhall & Ann Elizabeth Burgess, was born Mar 27 1866, Hamilton, Indiana.7,12  Myrtilla was previously married to Ellis Hodgin, who had died Jan 27, 1887.7  

Thomas was a physician, having graduated in 1876 from Indiana Medical College in Indianapolis; licensed in Indiana in 1897.10  

Thomas Milton Hinshaw died Oct 8 1905, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.5,7,10  

After Thomas died, Myrtilla remarried Aug 29 1907 to William J. McDonald,7,12 and then later married again to Fred Rideout.7
