Velma had previously married Feb 20 1916 to a Fred Lewis, who she divorced and with whom she had two children: Ruby Lewis (Mar 28 1918) and Alta Lewis (Oct 9 1920).10
In 1985 Velma Fern was living in Mount Vernon, Lawrence County, Missouri.5
In 1990 Velma still was living in/near Mount Vernon, Missouri.11
Velma died May 6 1990.11
