Martha Hinshaw Byrd Martha Grace Hinshaw Byrd, 88, Omak, died March 31, 2006, at Valley Care Center, Okanogan.   She was born Nov. 13, 1917, in Wenatchee to Cyrus J. and Nora Snider Hinshaw.   Survivors include children and their spouses, Donald R. and Carolyn Byrd of Omak, Vivian and Robert Elvidge of Woodinville, and Clifford and Mary Ann Byrd of Casper, Wyo.; grandchildren Janice, Margaret, Phillip, Greg and Karen; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.   Services were April 6 with interment at Okanogan Valley Memorial Gardens.   Precht-Harrison Nearents Chapel, Okanogan, was in charge of arrangements.

Martha's funeral was noted in the Omak-Okanogan County Chronicle (Omak, Washington) on April 13, 2006:⁸
