Gary W. Hinshaw, 73, born August 28, 1939 in Lenox Loren and Ethel [Lane] Hinshaw. Gary passed away peacefully on January 13, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved and enjoyed his family, along with restoring his 1974 Ford pickup, watching old western movies, reading Louis L'Amour books, NASCAR Racing, collecting John Deere tractors, his ride along dogs, country music, fishing and gardening; he had the best tomatoes in Arizona. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cathy and their daughter Taylor. And his sister(in-law) Kim Nickerson and brother(in-law) Joe Skitz. Gary is also survived by his children; Brent, Brenda, Becky, and Brandon; 5 grandchildren Ben, Coleman, Tyler, Ryan and Shannon, as well as his sister Faye Jean.
Gary's life was also surrounded by many loving extended family and friends. He was and always will be a loving husband, father and friend. His kindness was immeasurable and his hugs were fantastic. He gave real meaning to being a "true Friend"
