Francis Lorraine Hinshaw died Aug 20 2012, Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital, Gridley, Butte County, California; age 85.⁵  

Lorraine's obituary was published in the "Gridley Herald" (Gridley, California) on August 25, 2012:⁵

Lorraine Heidman A Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 9 a.m. at the Gridley Christian Church, 580 Washington Street, Gridley, California, for Lorraine Heidman, 85, of Gridley.  Lorraine passed away on August 20, 2012 at Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital in Gridley.   She was born June 11, 1927 in Gridley, California to Clarence and Bessie Hinshaw.   Lorraine was a long time resident of Gridley.  She enjoyed quilting.  Loved her family very much, her three grandsons, especially her three granddaughters.  She was a long time member of Christian Church, in Gridley.   Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hans Heidman; three brothers: Elmer Hinshaw, Jimmy Hinshaw, Charles Fuller; and six sisters: Clarabell (Toodie) Campbell, Beryl Cowee, Opal Waters, Velma Graham, Ellen Cooks [sic] and Marie Fuller.   She is survived by one son Kris (Pat) Heidman, of Gridley, three grandsons: Eric (Lisa) Heidman, of Turlock, Brian Heidman, of Gridley, Jeff (Jessica), of San Jose; three great-granddaughters: Madeline, Jillian and Riley, of Turlock; and one sister Louise Keeling, of Citrus Heights.   Interment graveside service will be at the Chester Cemetery 1400 Highway 36, Chester, CA 96020, Saturday, September 1, 2012, at 1 p.m.   Family suggests donations can be made to the Gridley Christian Church.   Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley Block Funeral Chapel.
