He married Ina Opal Parker8 [Opal Parker1,4,9], Jan 30 19328.  Ina, daughter of Preston Parker & Hulda Graham, was born May 2 1916, Clay County, West Virginia.9  

Leamon Watson Hanshaw died Nov - 1979, buried Hively Cemetery, off Rt. 36 two miles south of Wallback, Clay County, West Virginia.3,4  

In 2005 Opal was living in Dellroy, Carroll County, Ohio1

Ina died Jun 27 2008, age 92.4,9  

Opal's obituary was published as follows:9

Opal Hanshaw, 92, of Dellroy, OH, formerly of Clay County, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008, in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness.  

Born on May 2, 1916, in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Hulda (Graham) Parker.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Hanshaw in 1979; one daughter, Helen F. Seymoure; four sisters and one brother.  

Opal was a Dellroy resident for the past 4 years, prior to which she had resided in Clay, WV.  She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Maysel.  

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Ella Hanshaw of Seville, OH, and Robert and Dottie Hanshaw of Dellroy, OH; two daughters, Phyllis Braley of Canton and Jane Austin of Wallback; 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.  

Graveside service will be 11 am Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Hively Cemetery, Wallback, with Minister Ralph Davis officiating

Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, is in charge of arrangements.
