She then married Cal Boggs, May 22 1954, Clay County, West Virginia.1,3,6  Cal, son of Kenna + Gertrude Boggs, was born Jan 19 1930, Newton, West Virginia.6,7

ORRVILLE -- Laura Maysel Boggs, 77, formerly of 135 N. Crown Hill Road, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at Shady Lawn Health Care Community, Dalton.  

Services will be Thursday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with Pastor John H. Miller officiating.  Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.  

Friends may call Thursday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.  Online registry and expressions of condolence may be left at www.aublefuneralhome.com.  

The family suggests donations be made to New Hope Christian Center Food Bank, 236 N. Walnut St., Orrville 44667; or Shady Lawn Health Care Community (for resident activities), 15028 E. Lincoln Way, Dalton 44618.  

Laura was born July 15, 1930, in Valley Fork, W.Va., the daughter of A.B. and Allie (Rogers) Hanshaw, and married Cal Boggs on May 22, 1954, in Clay, W.Va.  He died April 14, 1993.  

She collected antiques and specialized in Roseville pottery and Carnival glass.  She enjoyed flea markets, sewing, quilting and especially her family.  

Surviving are children, Dr. Michael (Lisa) Boggs of Lewisburg, Alan (Jane) Boggs of Dalton and Vicki (Gary) James of Brunswick; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lona Ikerd of Charleston, W.Va., and Hazel Fitzwater of Boomer, W.Va.  

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
