He married Nellie B. Merritt, Oct 24 1884.1  Nellie was born about 1867, Michigan.2  

In 1905 George was living in Rose Hill, Kansas.8  

George and family were shown in the 1910 census (Apr 28 1910), Pleasant Township, Butler County, Kansas:2

Hinshaw, George F., head-of-household, age 44, born in North Carolina; parents born in North Carolina; first marriage, married 24 years; occupation: farmer, general farm; owned farm (mortgaged).
Hinshaw, Nellie B., wife, age 43, born in Michigan; parents born in Michigan; first marriage, married 24 years; 5 children, 5 living.
Hinshaw, Merritt G., son, age 21, born in Kansas; father born in North Carolina; mother born in Michigan; occupation: farmer, general farm.
Hinshaw, Gracie M., daughter, age 10 [or 18 - unclear], born in Kansas; father born in North Carolina; mother born in Michigan; attended school.
Living nearby in 1910 was the family of cousin Rosa A. Hinshaw.10  

He then married Hassie Dixon8 [Hattie L. Dixon1,11,12], Oct 27 19138, Ramseur, North Carolina8.  Hassie, daughter of John W. Dixon, was born about 1881, North Carolina.11,12  

George was a Quaker minister.  The family loved to listen to George pray.13

Living next door in 1920 was brother Isaiah.14  

George and family were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 16 1930), Dixon Street, Ramseur, Randolph County, North Carolina:12

Hinshaw, George F., head-of-household, age 65, born in North Carolina; parents born in North Carolina; first married at age 21; owned home ($1600 value); no radio in home; occupation: painter; not a veteran.
Hinshaw, Hattie L., wife, age 49, born in North Carolina; parents born in North Carolina; first married at age 52.
Dixon, John W., father-in-law, age 81, born in North Carolina; parents born in North Carolina; widower; first married at age 24; occupation: retired; not a veteran.

In 1935 George was still living in Ramseur, North Carolina.15  

George Franklin Hinshaw died Mar 14 1939.1
