Jewel died Dec 11 1992, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas; buried Evergreen Cemetery, Lipan, Hood County, Texas.^3,5,7,8 (Dec 8 1992).^4,6,9 Jewel is buried in a Fulcher family plot with her parents and three siblings.¹⁰

Jewell's obituary appeared in "The Fort Worth Star-Telegram" on Sunday, December 13, 1992 (page 32:37) as follows:⁷
