On Sep 12 1918 Gary Henshaw, age 42, registered for the World War I draft in Addison, Steuben County, New York.  He declared he was born March 2 [unclear] 1876, and was then residing in Rathbone, New York, a self-employed farmer.  He declared his nearest relative was his wife, Mary Henshaw of Rathbone.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, brown hair.3
