Ralph's obituary was published in "The Mountain Democrat" (Placerville, California) on Friday, October 26, 1990:⁷

Ralph C. Henshaw Ralph C. Henshaw, 33, died suddenly Oct. 22 at his Placerville residence.   A reception will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at 4481 Sturch Way, Shingle Springs.  Call 677-1327 for information and directions.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Memory Chapel.  Inurnment will be private.   A native of San Luis Obispo, Mr. Henshaw lived the past eight months in El Dorado County.  He was co-owner of Aircraft Communications, Electronic Systems Inc., at Cameron Park Airport for the past four years.  He served with the U.S. Navy from 1974-77.   Mr. Henshaw is survived by his mother, Diane M. Adams of Tacoma, Wash.; his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Sturch of Shingle Springs; and brothers John Henshaw of Newport, Wash., and Norman Anheir of Richland, Wash.
