Thomas Jefferson Hincher died Jan - 1926.^78,i    Thomas disappeared while taking a trip in January, 1926 to Alert, near Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina.    He was carrying cash and gifts to family members in Orange County, and was never seen again.    His body was never found.ⁱ
