Virginia Madelina Hinshaw died Aug 4 1963, buried Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk, Woodford County, Illinois.4  

In 2009 Lyle was still living in/near Minonk, Woodford County, Illinois.5  

Lyle died Jul 20 2009, at his home, Minonk, Woodford County, Illinois; age 91.4,5  

Lyle's obituary was published as follows:4

Lyle B. May, 91, Minonk, passed away at 11:05 a.m. Monday (July 20, 2009) at his residence.  

He was born Sept. 24, 1917, in rural Gridley, a son of Elmer and Tillie Henline May.  He married Virginia Hinshaw on Sept. 5, 1937, in Chenoa.  She passed away Aug. 4, 1963.  Later, he married Leora Bernice Harms on Feb. 6, 1965, in Aurora.  She passed away Jan. 4, 2006.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.  

Lyle was self-employed and had his own milk route in the Minonk area.  He also worked at Seal Master in Aurora.  

Lyle was a Navy veteran, serving his country during World War II.
