In 1932, the West Union Friends Meeting celebrated its 100-year anniversary.    As part of a fund raiser, the ladies of West Union made a large quilt upon which was embroidered the names of members who purchased spots on the quilt for 10 cents per name (see: http://www.rootsweb.com/~inmchaga/namequi2.html).    The West Union "Name Quilt" contains the names of Ira Hinshaw, Helen Hinshaw, brother Joseph Hinshaw and his wife, Edna Hinshaw, and daughter Charlotte Hinshaw, and Philip Hinshaw.i
