He married Ellen Shook, Jun 4 1911, Jackson, Wyoming.¹  Ellen, daughter of Emory S. Shook & Margaretta Ann Lee, was born 1882, Sulphur City, Washington County, Arkansas.^1,2  

Tom and family were shown in the 1920 census (Jan 19-20 1920), living with Ellen's parents in White River Township, Washington County, Arkansas:²

William Thomas Lee Hanshew died Mar 26 1920, Trace Valley, Washington County, Arkansas; buried Mt. Salem Cemetery, Sulphur City, Washington County, Arkansas.^1,4  

Tom's obituary was published in the "Fayetteville Democrat" (Fayetteville, Arkansas) on Tuesday, March 30, 1920:⁴

TOM HANSHAW Tom Hanshaw died Friday at his mother's home in Trace Valley after an illness of nearly a year.  Funeral services were held Sunday at Sulphur City Church, conducted by Rev. Berry.  Interment was in Mount Salem Cemetery by the side of his father, a brother and sister.  He is survived by his wife, two small daughters, his mother, two brothers and three sisters.

Ellen died Nov - 1966, Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas; buried Mt. Salem Cemetery, Sulphur City, Washington County, Arkansas.¹
